• Measure the width on the outside edges of your architrave from one side to the other.
• Measure from the top of the architrave as this is where your brackets will be fitted.
• For windows without an architrave measure from where you want the brackets to be installed and the measurement will be from the outside of one bracket to the outside of the other bracket.
• Note your measurement to the exact mm

• Measure the hard drop from the top outside edge of the architrave to the bottom outside edge of the architrave. This measurement may be increased if you want the blind to drop past the bottom of your window frame or to the floor.
• Note your measurement to the exact mm
• Don’t worry if you measure the drop a little bit longer, you will be supplied with ball stops for your chain so you can choose exactly where you want the bottom of the blind to sit. You can also easily control the bottom limit with motorised blinds.

• Measure the hard width across the top inside the window recess as this is where your brackets will be fitted.
• Note your measurement to the exact mm

• Measure the hard drop from the inside top of your window to the inside bottom of your window
• Note your measurement to the exact mm
• Don’t worry if you measure the drop a little bit longer, you will be supplied with ball stops for your chain so you can choose exactly where you want the bottom of the blind to sit.  You can also easily control the bottom limit with motorised blinds.

• When measuring inside mount roller blinds, ensure that you have at least 60 mm clearance inside your window recess so you have enough space for your blinds to sit neatly inside.
• For living areas, we recommend inside mount roller blinds and for bedrooms inside mount your sunscreen or light filter roller blind and outside mount your blockout blind – this will give you the greatest control over privacy, glare and room darkening.

In this video, Michael takes you through the key features of the pelmet 95 and demonstrates how it will transform your single outside mounted blinds by concealing the roll tube and brackets.  In addition, the Pelmet 95 protects your blinds from dust as it has a solid aluminium roof.  Installation with a Pelmet 95 is super easy.  The Roller blind brackets are already fitted inside the pelmet for you - including the intermediate brackets for your linked blinds.  Therefore you just need to attach your Pelmet 95 to your architrave or wall and simply pop your roller blinds in.  It couldn't be easier to achieve a professional finished look for your roller blinds!

The Pelmet 95 is ideal for Single Roller Blinds or Single Linked Roller Blinds that are outside mounted. 

A common pelmet is a great additional feature for Single linked roller blinds.  It is available in single lengths up to 4.8 meters long (4800mm).  Pelmet 95 can be butt joined together for wider widths if required.  This means you can use a common Pelmet to cover several blinds, making it a fantastic choice for sliding doors and larger windows.

To create a contemporary look and add the finishing touch to your roller blinds add one of our designer range of pelmets. Pelmets will neatly cover the top and front of the roll tube protecting your roller blinds from dust as well as hiding the roll tube.

Option 1 - Extended Mount

• Best for achieving greater light control and privacy and blends the fabric into the wall without the disruption of the architrave.
• Measure from the outside edge of the architrave to the outside edge of the architrave. Add an extra 30mm past the outside edge of the architrave on both sides (if space permits) - adding a total of 60mm to your overall width. This will then extend your fabric past the architrave for full coverage on both sides and reduce light gaps
• This will become the width measurement you enter when placing your order and represents the finished size of the pelmet, not the fabric.
• Note your measurement to the exact mm.

Option 2 – Flush Mount

• The pelmet sits flush with the outside edge of the architrave
• Measure from the outside edge of the architrave to the outside edge of the architrave for a flush finish.
• This will become the width measurement you enter when placing your order and represents the finished size of the pelmet, not the fabric.
• Note your measurement to the exact mm.
