Renovating our 1880 two storey weatherboard Victorian home over the past 3 years has been a labour of love determining the paint colour scheme, wallpaper and finishes throughout. Whilst honouring the heritage of the home with period features like Victorian-style cornices, skirting, dado boards, fireplaces and etched coloured glass windows, we also wanted to create a comfortable, modern family feel to the home. With 3.2 metre high ceilings our decision to use iSeekBlinds for our window coverings was one of the best decisions we have made. The videos and information provided on the iSeekBlinds website along with the free fabric sample service provided all the information we needed to make the best choices and we could not be happier with the end result. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whilst the entire process from ordering through to final installation was a breeze. The fabrics we chose throughout the home were Belmore Chalk Blockout curtains for the master bedroom (to be installed soon after the timber floorboards are polished), Bali Cloud Sheers for the open kitchen, dining and living room and Linesque Delta light filtering roller blind with pelmet for the study. All the curtains throughout are wall mounted and feature black rails to match the décor of our home where we’ve used black for the door handles, cupboard handles, light switches, power points and ceiling fans throughout. As well as the aesthetic beauty that the curtains have brought to each of the rooms, they have also created a feeling of calmness and serenity in our home, bringing together a diverse range of elements resulting in a cohesive styling outcome. Our iSeekBlinds curtains have added that ‘wow’ factor and the perfect finishing touch to create a stylish and sophisticated ambience to our lovingly restored Victorian home.

I had fun putting up the curtains. The video was very detailed and I was pleased with the result. Friends visiting were blown away.
Roller blinds were so very easy to install and program. Love that they still let in so much beautiful light but provides great night privacy.
The idea of measuring, choosing and installing blinds for your first home was intimidating at first. So I took my time to go through the resources available on the iSeekBlinds website. Once I knew what I had to do, I split my windows into 3 smaller projects – I ordered blinds for one to two windows each time after I took the measurements carefully. This way, I am not overwhelmed and can decide if they are the right choice for me, my confidence also grows with each installation. I’m very pleased with the iSeekBlinds website resources, their products and quite amazing customer service. I am a perfectionist in most things and they did not disappoint.
Perfect experience. It started with the arrival of samples. It was awesome to be able to see a great variety of materials. Measuring was made easy and then manufacturing and delivery was so fast. Installation was a breeze. My husband and I had them up within an hour! Loved the easy guide videos. No fluff, just info that we needed to know. I had a quote from another company that was 3 times the price (no exaggeration) so the low price, easy ordering and installation made this a huge win for us. We love, love our curtains and would love to put them through the whole house! Thanks again iSeekBlinds!
We purchased our first 1970s ‘reno home’ in June 2021 with the goal of bringing it into the modern era. It came with light pink walls, candelabra wall sconces and heavy cream curtains attached to pelmets throughout the house. The house has higher than normal ceilings so we decided that ceiling mounted sheers would be the best option, giving the illusion of even taller ceilings. After doing all of our research, we ordered samples from iSeekBlinds, measured and then ordered our curtains. Michael’s instruction video on how to mount corner curtains was a god-send as we never would’ve thought to do it this way. After having such a good experience with iSeekBlinds, we then decided to order Plantation Shutters for our ensuite. These were so easy to put together and install ourselves. They’ve really given us the privacy we were after, whilst still letting in plenty of light and looking stylish at the same time. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome and feel it has completed our updated Master Bedroom and Ensuite. Now to tackle the rest of the house!
So happy with our first DIY experience. The instructional videos made measuring and installing so easy. Loved being able to order unlimited samples so we could make the right choice. Our master bedroom previously had 5 separate roman blinds to pull up and down everyday. Now with motorised blockout they all go up/down with the press of a button. We love the end result.
